NEW CASTLE, PA, UNITED STATES, October 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — More than $225,000 in scholarships went to 90 students at New Castle School of Trades during the school’s annual Scholarship Day on Wednesday, October 14. Support for this year’s awards came from America’s Trades Foundation, corporate sponsors, civic groups, and members of the local community.

These scholarships help NCST students cover the cost of their education as they work toward careers in the skilled trades. That support allows students to focus more fully on learning their trade and earning their credentials. With this year’s awards, Scholarship Day has recognized students with more than $700,000 in scholarships over the past five years.

The ceremony took place at NCST’s main campus, 4117 Pulaski Road, New Castle, PA 16101. The event was open to the public and brought together students, family members, faculty, staff, sponsors, and industry leaders.
